No person shall sell lick or dip tobacco unless it has been treated in a manner prescribed by regulation. Such regulations may be made by the Administrator.[section 2 amended by Ord. 7 of 1933]3.
Any person who contravenes or evades the provisions of this Ordinance or any condition attached to the issue of a permit under section one, shall be guilty of an offence and liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding fifty pounds or in default of payment to imprisonment with or without hard labour for a period not exceeding six months.[A fine not exceeding fifty pounds is equivalent to a fine not exceeding N$100.]4.
This Ordinance may be cited as the Tobacco Growers Protection Ordinance, 1933.History of this document
